It's a hopscotch race to gather as many paper hearts as you can! Each student goes through the hopscotch course, picks up a paper heart and brings it back to their bucket.
Kids always love to play with balloons, and they are a safe piece of equipment you can use in any space. Here's a great eye-hand coordination activity to celebrate the New Year!
It's time to make your New Year's Resolution for better fitness! This is a fun game where the children choose one exercise that is part of their New Year's Resolution and then they have to perform it at various times throughout the game.
Celebrate New Year's Eve with your own Ball Drop! This is a fun teamwork game where children are working together to try to toss a ball into a cup and ring in the New Year!
Four stations are set up in your room with Christmas themes which include push-ups, running, jumping jacks and cup stacking!
This is a fun game with no winner, but one student is the guard (Grinch) who is trying to stop the deliveries of the presents to children. Everyone else is one of Santa's helpers delivering presents by trying to slide a bean bag into a hula hoop.
Each student must bowl a sponge ball (snowball) at the opposing teams pin not crossing the center line. Each time the pin gets knocked over, pause the game and award a point.
Sticky notes are placed all over the room, and on 'go' the children start to collect sticky notes, but only one at a time. When they find one, they run over to their turkey on the wall and stick the feather onto their turkey. When completed, whichever team has collected the most feathers wins!
The hula hoop is the turkey and the kids will stuff it with small size balls. But first they must jump over 3 cones, each with a ball balanced on top. If they knock over a tennis ball, they must run back to the starting line to go again. The first team to get 10 balls into the hoop first wins!
