PURPOSE
Two chasers (Leprechauns) try to collect as many gold coins as possible by tagging other students
SETUP
Spread the students out around your room so they are spaced out and safe. Pick two children to be the Leprechauns in the game. Mark out two Leprechaun “Caves” at opposite ends of the play area.

INSTRUCTIONS
This is a tag game where two ‘chasers’ who are Leprechauns are playing against each other.
All the children who are not chasers are ‘gold coins’ who the Leprechauns are trying to collect.
On the command of ‘go’ the Leprechauns begin running after the gold coins trying to tag them. If a gold coin gets tagged, they must immediately report to that Leprechaun’s Cave.
This process will continue until all the gold coins have been tagged. At the end, whichever two gold coins were the last to get caught now become the new Leprechaun’s. Also, whichever Leprechaun captured the most gold coins also wins that round.
MODIFICATIONS
Game can be made to practice other skills by switching it from running to hopping, skipping or galloping.
